A Historical Overview

S.I.V.E.T. College embodies the vision of inclusive education and community development envisioned by the South Indian Vaniar Educational Trust, founded in 1960 by the distinguished Hon'ble Justice Thiru. S.A. Ayyasami Chettiar, M.A., B.L. With generous contributions from the Vaniar community and a 27.47-acre land grant from the Government of Tamil Nadu, the college was established in July 1966 at Gowrivakkam, Chennai.
