The tradition of S.I.V.E.T.College entwines together a sound academic achievement with an extensive, vibrant co-curricular programme that includes sports, and leadership training programmes. The methodical approach and ethos of the environment provide conduce atmosphere of learning together.

Our mission is to inculcate the love of knowledge in our first generation and downtrodden students and, for this; we aim to develop the skills and demeanour of lifelong ‘learning,’ which is essential for making them responsible global citizens. This will make them immensely capable of facing the future with resilience and optimism. We instil the values of respect , trust and a sense of social responsibility among the students and inspire community work which help in bridging the theory-praxis divide.

Our College has three units of NSS (one unit exclusively for women) and a NCC unit (mixed battalion concept) with an objective to foster “Reaching Out” initiative of the college.

The college infrastructure is well equipped with facilities like Computer laboratories, Tennis Court, Cricket Ground, Ball Badminton Court, Basket-Ball Court, Auditorium, Indoor stadium gymnasium, Smart Classes with Interactive Boards, Well Stocked Library, Dynamic college website and Automatic SMS System, High End Technology comprising Software for administration of college, CCTV Surveillance, uninterrupted power supply through solar panels, Canteen and Women’s Hostel.

Students are duly encouraged and given training to participate in co-curricular activities, games and sports .Our College takes pride in conducting 20-20 intercollegiate cricket match every year.

Many of our Students receive endowment scholarships instituted by various Trusts and individuals as a means of encouragement to the meritorious students.

The college has several achievements to its credit in the form of awards, status and Grade. Efforts to inculcate discipline amidst students, establishing systematic mechanism of performance assessment of the students and teachers , promoting research, initiating consultancy services , arranging alumni/ industry-academia meetings, undertaking activities to conserve energy, protect environment, increase allegiance to the society at large for achieving better quality of life (QOL) are some of the hallmark features of Our college.
